Cancellation & Refund Policy

Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). If our services fail to meet guarantees of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, or match their description, you may be entitled to a remedy. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
1. Scope
This policy applies to wellness support programmes (Seedling, Canopy, Rooted), guide library subscriptions, and paid digital resources purchased from Drainfrclear.
2. Cooling-off period
If you enrol online or by phone, you may cancel within 14 days of payment without giving a reason, provided you have not attended more than one scheduled session or downloaded more than two guide files. Notify us in writing at infocenter@drainfrclear.world.
3. Cancellation by you (after cooling-off)
- Before programme start date: full refund minus a $25 NZD administration fee
- Within the first week after start: 75% refund of the unused portion
- After the first week: no monetary refund; you may transfer remaining sessions to a future cohort once within 12 months
4. Cancellation by us
If we cancel due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances, you receive a full refund or free transfer to another date.
5. Guide library subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions ($12 NZD incl. GST) may be cancelled at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused days. Annual subscriptions cancelled within 30 days receive a pro-rata refund for unused full months.
6. Digital downloads
Refunds are not available once guide files have been downloaded, except where content is materially defective or inaccessible. Report issues within 7 days of purchase.
7. Fair Trading Act 1986
We do not make false or misleading representations about our programmes, pricing, or likely outcomes. All advertised prices include GST. Programme descriptions on our website accurately reflect what is delivered.
8. Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days. Bank processing times may vary.
9. Session rescheduling
Private check-ins may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Missed sessions without notice are forfeited.
10. Disputes
If you are unhappy with our response, you may contact the Commerce Commission (www.comcom.govt.nz) or seek resolution through the Disputes Tribunal for claims within its jurisdiction.
11. How to request a cancellation or refund
